Merrickville Plays host to Car and Truck Show on July
Taking place on the 11th of July is eastern Ontario’s most awaited truck and car show – the 10th annual Merrickville Cruise & Shop. With residents in the area eagerly anticipating the event, last year’s record of 650 registered entries, made up of both cars and trucks, just might be broken next month. Of course, it’s expected that thousands of enthusiasts from the village and neighboring areas will be watching the show.
The Village of Merrickville will be playing host to this great event for the whole family, beginning at 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. The car & truck show will be held at the Blockhouse Museum, which is right along the Rideau Canal, serving as a beautiful backdrop for an event like this.
Aside from hundreds of cars and trucks on display, spectators will also be treated to live music, games & prizes, tethered hot air balloon rides, flowing food and drinks, and remote controlled racing car demonstrations.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars and free up your schedule on the 11th. Bring the whole family with you, we promise you’ll have a grand time with the festivities. The best part? The event is open to everyone.
