Mark your calendar for an action packed weekend full of fabulous winter fun. This longstanding tradition in Gravenhurst celebrates all that our community has to offer, and is sure to leave you with memories to last a lifetime.

The Gravenhurst Winter Carnival hosts a variety of events including Snowmobile Radar Runs, Polar Bear Dip, Pancake Breakfasts, Ice Sculpting, Demolition Derby, live entertainment and so much more! Join us on February 24th-26th, 2012 and experience Gravenhurst like never before.

The Gravenhurst Winter Carnival is packed full of excitement. Opening Ceremonies Friday outside the Gravenhurst Opera House at 6:45pm.

The 42nd Annual Dwight Winter Carnival takes place February 23-25, 2012. Enjoy a Redneck Themed Carnival Dance on Saturday with laser light show!!! (age of majority required)

Mark your calendar for February 17 & 18, 2012! Come and join the fun at the 22nd annual Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival!

Snowball was originated by the volunteer Committee for the Dorset Recreation Centre back in 1991 as a community event and fundraiser for the Rec Centre. Snowball takes place on the 3rd weekend of February every year and has grown from an event that used to be only attended by people form Dorset to an event that is now attended by people from all over Ontario.

The main focus of Snowball is to provide affordable family oriented entertainment, to make Dorset a “destination” and to bring the community together for a day filled with activity and fun.

Come out and enjoy the Port Sydney 54th Annual Winter Carnival Event taking place at the Port Sydney Beach. This event features ‘Boot Camp’ on the Dock for all those 16 and over, Mushball, Winter Olympics, BBQ, REMAX Air Balloon, and a Bonfire. Inside the Hall there will be Minnow Racing, Snack Bar and Face Painting.
