Health & Lifestyle Event Celebration Area Council

The Celebration Area Council and Florida Hospital Celebration are collaborating this year for their signature ‘Health and Lifestyle’ event. It will take place on Thursday October 18 at Celebration Town Hall from 5 PM – 8 PM. Booths are available starting at $125 for non-members. The Celebration Area Council is a division of the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce. The Celebration Council’s mission is to provide a common voice in promoting the economic well being of business and to advance the civic, industrial, commercial, professional and education of business in Celebration and neighboring areas of Osceola County.

September’s Featured Speaker is Patrick Faulk, BS, CPT

On Mind, Body and Spirit Health

Patrick Faulk holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology from the University of Florida and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. Mr. Faulk currently works for Florida Hospital’s Healthy 100 Institute in Celebration overseeing the development of new wellness programs along with their corporate wellness services. Patrick has addressed a variety of audiences including Disney Marathon Runners, High School & College Athletes, Corporate Partners and many others on a wide range of topics pertaining to fitness and wellness. Patrick has spoken to groups about stress management, injury prevention, beginning an exercise routine, and body composition, among other topics. He is committed to educating as many as possible on the benefits of living a Healthy 100 lifestyle. Patrick believes that everyone is capable of attaining their goals; everyone can reach a Healthy 100, as long as they believe in themselves.

Lunch, Munch ‘n’ Learn – Celebration Area Council

Sandy Geroux Motivational Speaker on Tuesday May 22

The Celebration Area Council is holding it’s next Lunch, Munch ‘n’ Learn on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Imperium Food & Wine Restaurant on Market Street. This lunch will feature motivational speaker, author and singer, Sandy Geroux. Learn how to turn your workspace into a “WOW” place. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.

Sandy Geroux, Motivational Speaker, Author and Singer will be creating WOW experiences for customers and co-workers.

Celebration High School Students Apply for Scholarship

The Celebration Area Council is seeking candidates from Celebration High School to apply for a $1000 scholarship. The deadline to submit all applications is April 10, 2012. The scholarship is open to all Celebration High School seniors with at least a GPA of 3.0. An essay must also be submitted with the application. The Celebration Area Council has been granting scholarships to at least one Celebration graduate for the past decade.

National Night Out & Community Fair

The Town of Celebration along with Celebration Area Council’s support will host the National Night Out & Community Fair on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 5-8pm. There will be information on bike safety, face painting, demonstrations and much more at the event being held at the Town Hall, located at 815 Celebration Avenue, Celebration, Florida, 34747.

Celebration Area Council will be hosting a Lifestyle Fair at Town Hall from 5pm – 8pm during this event and have very carefully selected local businesses whose participation would enhance their exciting event while allowing you to showcase your products, office or business!
