Events and Activities Happening in Kingston Next Week

Is your schedule free next week? Here are some events happening over the next few days in the City of Kingston.

First off is Afternoon at the Opera, performance that will be the King Symphony’s season finale. The show happens this Sunday at 2:30 in the afternoon at the Grand Theatre. Special guests include the Kingston Choral Society, as well as soloists Bruce Kelly, Marc Hervieux, Julie Nesrallah, and Julie Nesrallah.

Local country band Ambush will be performing at the Spring Fling Gala in a benefit concert for the Kingston Humane Society. The concert will be held at Storrington Lions Hall on Friday, April 30. Tickets will be sold at $45 for both the dance and dinner, and $25 without the dinner. You can score your tickets at the Rideau Town Centre, Mike Mundell’s Surf and Turf Store, and the Kingston Humane Society.

On April 28, author Maxine Kaufman-Lacusta will speak about and read from her book, “Refusing to Be Enemies”. The event starts at 7 in the evening and will be held at Calvin Park Branch of the Kingston Public Library.
