It’s been a long wait, but the years that have gone by are well worth it as the K-Rock Centre confirmed that Elton John is finally coming to Kingston for a concert on July 9, Friday, at 8 in the evening.
The concert in Kingston will be one of the 5 stops Sir Elton John will make in Canada for his tour. Surprisingly, the tour will not include major cities like Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa.
According to Kate Kristiansen, marketing and sales manager of the K-Rock Centre, they’ve been trying to get Elton John to perform at the venue ever since it opened.
Those interested to score their tickets will have to wait though, as the first day of ticket sales is scheduled on the 23rd of April, at exactly 9 in the evening. Tickets won’t come cheap though; be prepared to cough up $89.50 and $149.50, that’s minus the service charge. Grab your tickets at the box office if you’re interested.
Elton John will be bringing his trademark piano, along with a full band with some members who’ve performed with him since his early days in the 70s. If you’re a fan of Elton’s, then this is one event you shouldn’t miss.
