The Grand Theatre, The Kingston Arts Council and the The Kingston Jazz Society take pride in presenting The Kingston Jazz Festival. This year’s jazz festival will feature a wide huge selection of the world’s finest musicians that will be performing at the Grand Theatre, a late night series at the Mansion with live music on porches and a wonderful and free musical afternoon and family fun at the Confederation Park. The Kingston Jazz Society will present two amazing jazz musicians at the Mansion. These amazing jazz musicians are the Brandi Disterheft Quintet that will definitely delight the audience and the ever-popular Shuffle Demons which will make the audience stand up on their feet with their lively blend of jazz and funk.

Performance Tickets at the Grand Theatre and the Mansion will be available to the public by Friday, 29^th of April 2011. The event will be open to all ages that enjoy wonderful jazz music. Kids, adults and the elderly are all welcome to see the event and enjoy the wonders of jazz music. The Kingston Arts Council also take pride in presenting the Porch Jazz from the noon of Saturday, June 25^th until 3 in the afternoon. There will also be a free neighborhood jazz performance which will feature a star-studded line-up of local jazz musicians and artists including Dave Barton, Greg Runions, The Limestone Trombone Quartet, Paul Clifford, The Latin Fusion band, The Downtown Trio and so much more.

The fun won’t be stopping anytime soon as the Grand Theatre and the Kingston Jazz Society present a performance of Jazz in the Park on the 25^th of June. So prepare everything you need.
