The ACOUSTIC BLUE SUNDAY Summer Series at THE COVE INN, Westport continues. Enjoy a fabulous evening of \u201csit-and-listen\u201d acoustic Blues in the intimate, air-conditioned comfort of The Cove\u2019s dining room. The June 24 show by Steve Strongman was fabulous. This one promises to be just as good. DANNY BROOKS has come all the way up from Austin, Texas to perform on Sunday July 8th. There are still tickets available.<\/p>\n

A consummate singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player with a deep, soulful, powerful voice. Danny was born and raised in Toronto and lived in nearby Milton for decades. Over his 40+ year career he has been nominated for multiple Maple Blues Awards, 2 Junos and 6 of his songs have been honoured in the International Songwriting Competition. He recently moved to Austin Texas where he\u2019s been incredibly well received – including a performance on the famed Austin City Limits show. He calls his unique blend of Blues \u201cTexassippi Hill Country Soul with a little bit of Gospel thrown in\u201d which is as good a description as any. Danny\u2019s music reaches out and touches your soul. He\u2019s like nobody you have ever seen before and once you do you\u2019ll never forget him.<\/p>\n
