{"id":3063,"date":"2015-05-19T08:42:46","date_gmt":"2015-05-19T12:42:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.explorewestport.com\/?p=3063"},"modified":"2015-05-19T08:42:46","modified_gmt":"2015-05-19T12:42:46","slug":"art-by-the-lake-westport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.communityexplore.com\/new_sites\/westport\/art-by-the-lake-westport\/","title":{"rendered":"ART BY THE LAKE WESTPORT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.communityexplore.com\/new_sites\/westport\/files\/2015\/05\/6844249.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3064\" src=\"https:\/\/www.communityexplore.com\/new_sites\/westport\/files\/2015\/05\/6844249.jpg\" alt=\"6844249\" width=\"479\" height=\"402\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.communityexplore.com\/new_sites\/westport\/files\/2015\/05\/6844249.jpg 479w, https:\/\/www.communityexplore.com\/new_sites\/westport\/files\/2015\/05\/6844249-300x252.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 479px) 100vw, 479px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Westport Arts council invites you to ART BY THE LAKE WESTPORT:<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">When: 07-04-2015 10:00 AM &#8211; 04:00 PM<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Where:\u00a0Lion\u2019s Club Beach<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #8e8e8e;font-size: medium\"><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a\">The show will feature artists from the Westport and the surrounding areas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;font-size: medium\">The festivities will begin Friday evening with an indoor\u00a0<em>Gallery<\/em>\u00a0and M<em>eet the Artist<\/em>\u00a0show in the beach house by invitational only.\u00a0Wine and hors d\u2019oeuvres will be served while enjoying entertainment by local musicians.\u00a0\u00a0We will also be featuring a\u00a0<em>silent art auction<\/em>\u00a0with the proceeds going to art in our local schools and \u201cArt by the Lake; Westport\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The event will continue on Saturday with each artist setting up their individual white tents and exhibiting a larger selection of their work on the beach grounds of Sand Lake.\u00a0\u00a0Music will also be performed throughout the day by Westport area performing artists.
