The Blacksmith’s Shop (adjacent to the Old Stone Mill) will be open from 10 am to 4 pm with blacksmiths plying their trade. This once common activity is now almost a lost art. Delta, from its very beginning had a blacksmith and all the original iron in the mill was fashioned by a blacksmith. Come on out and see how metal is fashioned by hand. Items made by Blacksmith John Cain are available for sale in our gift shop. <\/span><\/p>\n

The 200-year-old millstones in the Old Stone Mill in Delta will start turning at 1 pm, grinding heritage wheat into flour. Come on out and see how top quality flour is made. Admission is free (donations appreciated).<\/span><\/p>\n
