About Oshawa Ontario
The picturesque city of Oshawa is situated in Lane Ontario, some 34 miles east of Toronto. As of 2006, Oshawa has a total population of around 141,590 people. The city is the biggest community in the Durham Regional Municipality, and also serves as the home of an automobile history revolving around the Canadian arm of General Motors – a company that has contributed greatly to the city’s growth.
Oshawa prides itself as being home to dozens of tourist attractions.
