Stewart Park Music Festival: 25th Anniversary! Thursday July 14th Through Sunday July 17th, 2016 – Four days of music,workshops & Artisans in the park.

This year, as we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are also celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the Perth Military Settlement! Many special events are planned to mark this milestone including a special Thursday evening show sponsored by the Stewart Park Festival.

Under a canopy of majestic maple trees the Stewart Park Festival in Downtown Heritage Perth brings together an eclectic variety of Canadian and International musicians for a great weekend of over 30 free outdoor concerts. The weekend has entertainment for everyone including children’s entertainment and an international food and artisans market.

 

• World-class music on 3 different stages
• Admission by donation
• Scheduled children’s activities in the park on Saturday and Sunday
• Adult workshops in the park on Saturday and Sunday
• A festival labyrinth in the centre of Stewart Park
• A festival market featuring food vendors and local artisans
• A Saturday morning farmers’ market at the Crystal Palace with music
• Saturday downtown sidewalk sale with roving musicians & bargains galore
• Licenced Saturday and Sunday patio (2:00 – 6:00) at the Crystal Palace
• After Hours: Music in various downtown venues on Friday + Saturday evenings
• Music and a delicious Sunday breakfast at the Crystal Palace
• Sunday Strawberry Social hosted by The Table Community Food Centre
• Special camping package available at Last Duel Park
• Air-conditioned shuttle bus from designated parking areas to the park

The Stewart Park Festival attracts the best food and artisan vendors in the area. You can expect to find everything from photography, furniture and jewellery to clothing and craft.
The festival runs from Friday, July 18 until Sunday, July 20. This year our festival is even bigger thanks to the support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Government of Ontario. Our festival now includes fabulous children’s shows and family fun, there truly is something for everyone!

10330475_802215646456353_2839529079871437779_nOn Saturday, June 14th, 2014 at the Crystal Palace – it’s MONKEYJUNK – a Stewart Park Festival Fundraiser.To make this year’s festival the best it can be we need your support, so please come out and generously support this event and enjoy a concert by the blues band, Monkey Junk! Proceeds from this event help support the Stewart Park Festival this summer.

Tickets are $20 at Town Hall (ask for Stewart Park Festival Coordinator), Computer Plus, Stone Cellar or Perth Brewing Company. This is a licensed event; food will be available from the BBQ.

St Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance

ID-100129022Comeout and support Stewart Park Festival with a St Patrick’s Day dinner and dance this Saturday, March 15th, 2014 at the Perth Civitan Hall. Presented by THE STEWART PARK FESTIVAL you’ll enjoy a great dinner and then some authentic Irish music.

Dinner at 7pm; music to follow by RIVERTHIEVES. Tickets available at Computer Plus (7 Gore St. W.).

This is an Irish Ceilidh for the whole family. Silent auction. Tickets are $25 for adults, ages 12 and under free.

Stewart Park Festival 2013

Enjoy three days of free music at the Stewart Park Festival taking place July 19-21, 2013. This outdoor music festival is a summer favourite. Set in the beautiful park on the Tay River, there are more than 30 free, live concerts.

The festival features a variety of musical styles, including folk, funk and jazz. The weekend includes concerts as well as workshops, children’s activities and an after-hours pub crawl.
