PERTH TOURISM presents the 2nd Annual WINTER WONDERLAND at LAST DUEL PARK CAMPGROUNDS. Bundle up for an evening stroll or wagon ride to see the trees, buildings and displays all magically lit with coloured lights! Christmas carols will be playing throughout the park. Winter Wonderland tours are available Friday, December 12, Saturday, December 13, Friday, December 19, Saturday, December 20, Friday December 26, and Saturday December 27.

On special nights, we’ll have bonfires, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus! 5-9pm, walk-throughs on Friday evenings, horse & wagon on Saturdays. Wednesday, December 10th, 2014, join the MEN AND WOMEN OF THE TAY choral groups as they present their annual CHRISTMAS CONCERT at St. James’ Anglican Church, Drummond Street in Perth. Concert starts at 7:30pm, free will donation.

On Sunday, December 7th, 2014 the good folks at the CIVITAN CLUB in PERTH will host a FREE SENIORS’ CHRISTMAS DINNER at the hall, located on Hwy. #43 just east of Perth. Seniors can choose form a lunch or dinner serving. Please RSVP no later than December 5th. 

On Saturday, December 6th, 2014 visit the NICK OF TIME Annual Christmas Craft Show and Sale, which will be held from 10am to 4pm at Perth’s historic and elegant McMartin House (125 Gore St. East). This is a juried show of fine arts and crafts featuring original and unique creations by skilled artisans. Admission is free. Free draw. For more information call 613-283-0755.

The Annual PERTH & DISTRICT CHILDREN’S SANTA CLAUS PARADE OF LIGHTS takes place on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 leaving Sunset Blvd. at 5pm. The Parade will make its way south through Town (Wilson to Gore) with thousands of sparkling lights, Christmas music and favourite characters. The 9^th Annual C.F.U.W. Heritage Perth Christmas House Tour is scheduled for December 6 and 7, 2014, featuring 8 lovely and unique homes, decorated for the holidays.  Your $30.00 ticket will help provide support in the form of educational awards, to deserving young women seeking university education.  Proceeds also support literacy and other educational initiatives in local schools and libraries.  Ticket holders can take advantage of specially priced meals at local restaurants, as well as St. James Anglican Church Hall. Make sure to save the date!

On Saturday, December 6th, 2014 it’s the first annual PERTH SANTA FUN RUN! Every registered runner receives a Santa Hat! Prizes awarded for the best dressed runners, all ages welcome. $20 per registrants includes the hat and a warm cup of hot chocolate at the end of the race. Registrations begin at 9am at the Bandshell on Market Square. This is a fundraiser for the Perth 200th Anniversary. More details coming soon!

On Friday, November 21st, 2014 the Downtown Heritage Perth BIA presents the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS adjacent the Crystal Palace and in the Tay Basin. The fun begins at 6pm with music and a bonfire beside the Palace, followed by a fireworks display at 6:30pm sharp. After the fireworks, the Crystal Palace will opened for the mass lighting of the Community Christmas Trees.
