The fund raising event of Canada was, once more, a victorious event as The Navy League of Canada Tag Day Fundraising Event gathered more funds than what they expected. The Navy League of Canada sponsored the event, just like the previous years. The event generated a lot of amusing activities that many people want to join every year. The proceeds they gather grows bigger and bigger each year and so, they get to use the proceeds to improve their area and make it a better place to live. It was one whole day of fun and incitement while raising funds to help the area. The fund raising event happened last May 6, 2011 and closed the following day. The event was held at the 56 Queen Street. The event was certainly a successful one and a lot of people had fun.
The Navy League of Canada is a community-based, volunteer-led organization which dedicates itself to the development of the resources, vitality and leadership of the Youth of Canada through the appreciation of the great naval traditions. The branch in Ottawa is an equal partner with the Department of National Defense. The Navy League of Canada warmly welcomes their guests to join their activities since they have a lot every year. This year, their highlight was the fund raising event, which was absolutely successful. It was a fun event wherein everyone who attended appreciated the cause of the event.
The fund raising event interestingly commenced at exactly 12 midnight on the 6th of May and closed at exactly 11:59 in the evening on the 7th of May.
