Business After Hours

ID-100173113Each year the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce coordinates a series of Business After Hours events to facilitate networking for its members.  Each event is hosted by a different member business or organization in the community as a way to introduce members to there location, staff and products or services.  Members look forward to these networking events and the chance to learn more about the community.

At $5 for members and $15 for non-members, this event is affordable and a guaranteed good time!

Behind the Curtain: MichLee Puppets and the Art of Puppetry

ID-10055741The  Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens is having a special exhibit about puppets and puppet mastery. Come out and experience the puppets of MichLee. Learn about the rich history of puppeteering and the intricacy involved with story telling and puppet creation.

This is a fun exhibit for the whole family. Call the museum for ticket prices and exhibition times at, (407) 645-5311.

6th Annual Winter Park Paint Out

ID-10081670Come to the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden for a celebration of painting. This week long celebration exhibits the work of twenty-five pro­fes­sion­ally acclaimed plein air artists who will roam across our fair city cap­tur­ing many of your favorite land­scapes and land­marks with oils, water­col­ors and pastels. Come and see the results here at the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens.

Runs from April 20-26.

Join us on Saturday, April 26 for our Garden Party to celebrate the works and the painters from  6-9pm at he museum.

Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens Easter Special

ID-10074818Come to the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden on Friday, April 18 from 10am-4pm for an Easter treat. In observance of Good Friday the Polasek Museum will be open to the public.

Visitors are encouraged to come and view the many liturgical works created by Albin Polasek including “The Victorious Christ” and “The Stations of the Cross.” Visitors will also have the opportunity to find 20 hidden traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs, or pysanky, in the historic home.
