It’s Time for Winter in the Park!

Time to bundle up because winter’s coming to Winter Park!

Beginning on the 13th of November until the 9th of January, the City of Winter Park will once again host one of our favorite holiday shindigs, “Winter in the Park,” the city’s very own skating rink for the holidays to be set up at Central Park West Meadow here in downtown Winter Park, Florida. As an extra special holiday treat, this year’s rink will be 20% larger and will be around for an extra 2 weeks—all for you to enjoy here in sunny Winter Park.

Kids of all ages and all families are invited to put on their ice skates and give “Winter in the Park” a whirl and a spin.

The rink is open during these times.

  • 3 to 9 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays
  • 3 to 10 p.m., Fridays
  • 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays
  • 12 noon to 8 p.m., Sundays

Entrance fee to “Winter in the Park” is pegged at $10.00, which also covers rental for ice skates. Discounts are also available to groups of 20 or more ice skaters. You can even rent the whole ice rink for some frigid fun with the whole gang, family or what have you.
