Winter Park Sunday Running Group
The Winter Park Sunday Running Group has been a source of pleasant running experiences and friendships for hundreds of runners over 40 years. We encourage and welcome runners of all ages and speeds to join us on the course which offers exceptional scenery throughout Winter Park. The most popular distances range from five to ten miles, but the course easily accommodates shorter loops of three or four miles. It is our policy to ensure that people new to the group are warmly welcomed and that they do not get lost on the course.

Popcorn Flicks in the Park
This film is a part of our Popcorn Flicks series, which takes place in Central Park, Winter Park once a month and it’s FREE and open to the public!

Ice Cream Social
Gather your family and friends to enjoy sweet treats at our 8th annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday – April 8, 2018! The event will be held at the Winter Park Civic Center from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Our guests will enjoy an assortment of ice cream served by celebrity servers and provided by Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream. Other treats include: Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Peak Season Pops, The Father’s Table Cheesecake, popcorn, and Publix cake. Activities will include a Silent Auction, face painting, games, a photo booth, and special appearances.

Run for the Trees: Jeannette Genius McKean Memorial 5k.
Run for the Trees 5k run/walk is a unique point to point event. The last mile is on the tree-canopied, wilderness dirt road of Genius Drive. This privately owned glimpse of old Florida is opened to the public only once a year, for this event. All finishers receive a young tree! Event capacity is set at 1,800.
