Reconnect and network at the Winter Park Professional Women’s September luncheon at the Chamber. Lunch will be provided with safety precautions in place. WPPW gives women the opportunity to not only cultivate relationships with peers, but also hear from inspiring speakers. Topics include personal branding, business solutions, relevant community issues, sales techniques, and many more. We will provide more details on the luncheon soon.

Speaker: Meredith B. Watson Locklear, MD – Obstetrics & Gynecology
Meredith Watson-Locklear, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN physician in practice at the new Orlando Health Women’s Pavilion – Winter Park.

Fees: Member: $25
Non-Member: $35

The cost for lunch is $25 for Chamber members or $35 for non-chamber members.

This event is presented by Orlando Health.

We look forward to hearing from Orange County School Board member Angie Gallo, who was elected in 2018 and is serving her first term. Angie has been volunteering in Orange County for over 20 years. She served as PTA president at the elementary, middle and high school levels and also sat on the Orange County Council of PTA/PTSA board of directors. In addition to PTA, Angie has served as School Advisory Committee (SAC) chair for East Lake Elementary and served on the SAC at Corner Lake Middle and East River High. She is also a graduate of the inaugural class (2010) of the OCPS Leadership Orange program. Most recently, she served as the Legislation Chair for Florida PTA.

Angie serves on the Boards of:
Florida PTA, as the Vice President of Educational Development
Florida Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence, as Co-Chair
League of Women Voters Education Committee

Winter Park Professionnal Women

Winter Park Professional Women is a dynamic programming event hosted by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. It gives women the opportunity to not only cultivate relationships with peers, but also hear from inspiring speakers. Topics include personal branding, business solutions, relevant community issues, sales techniques, and many more. The monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of every month (with few exceptions) over lunch.

Keynote Speaker: Lindsey Phillips

 

As the Director of External Affairs for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida, Lindsey will be discussing her life-long passion for helping many of the most under-served and vulnerable members in our community, promoting awareness for their programs and sharing about their event, “Camp Holiday Cheer.”
In addition, get ahead on your holiday shopping and preview unique gift items provided by the following Pop-Up Vendors: The Grove, Kendra Scott, The Tiny Orchid Co., and the Paper Closet.

Fee/Admission: $25 Chamber Members | $50 Non-members
