YMCA Winter Park Hosts 7th annual Family Fall Festival
Taking place on the 30th of October is the 7th annual Family Fall Festival, which will be hosted by the YMCA. The event is taking place at Cady Way Pool, located along 2525 Cady Way at exactly 11 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon. County Commissioner Bill Segal will be at the festivities to officially kick off the event, along with Winter Park’s Week of the Family.
For the past 6 straight years, the City of Winter Park, Florida, has sponsored the Family Fall Festival. For 2010, they’re turning the reins over to YMCA, who will now be tasked to continue this fun tradition and host the annual event for the whole community.
And with YMCA now taking care of things, it’s clear that the event has the organization’s touch. This year’s Family Fall Festival will be filled with activities the whole family can participate in, such as healthy living and child development lectures, hay rides, inflatable bounce houses, arts & crafts projects for kids, balloon animals, a pumpkin patch and more.
As always, the goal of the event is to strengthen the bonds between Winter Park’s families. Not only do they get an opportunity to have a fun-filled day, they also get to learn valuable lessons while they’re at it.
