After being away in Switzerland for a few years, it is with great joy that we have returned home to the Perth area. We love it here and look forward to many happy years ‘at home’.
Perth is such a beautiful little town and, when we have visitors, we love showing them around.

My favorite thing to do in Perth would have to be shopping! I love Dragon Moon…and well to be honest all of the stores. Also I always grab a coffee from Code’s Mill.

Last time I was in the area my heel broke and I was glad I could go to Marks Cobbler for a quick fix. It’s sort of hard to find a place that specializes in shoes like they do, anyways 6 bucks later, my shoes were back in top notch condition.

Point of my story is: Perth has everything you need! Small town feel and the conveniences of a city.

My family and I are from Ajax and come up to Perth every weekend in summer to cottage on the Rideau. Perth is a lovely historic town with great shopping, spa and therapy services, and restaurants. We always take part in the festivals(Stewart Park)and Perth Fair. We love the grocery store choices and hardware store choices. We are disappointed that The Movie Gallery is closing and would like to see more events for teens.

Great Eats at Mexi’s. Whether it be for family outings or romantic getaways, this is your spot! Friendly Service and always with a smile… We always recommend Mexi’s to our cabin guests.

My favorite thing to do in Perth is to go to Coutt’s Coffee company, get a delicious cappuccino slush, sit in Stuart Park and enjoy the sunshine.

We love Perth. It’s a great place to search out and explore all that Perth has to offer. The Beautiful Historical Buildings, many shops and restaurants. The large Park centered in town and waterway through it. We have spend many weekends in Perth visiting and plan on visiting again and again.

I have lived in Perth for over 20 years, and there are many new things happening every week. I become a tourist in my own town. I go to Coutts Coffee for the best fresh coffee, stroll through Stewart Park and head over to the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays. Once I have done that, I go to my favorite bookstore The Book Nook and see what’s new to read. Then I go and sit by the water and read for a while. Then I play it by ear to the next adventure that takes my fancy…

I enjoy living in rural Perth and coming into town to shop, eat and relax. In summer it’s at its peak with beautiful flowers lining the streets, heritage buildings and all the lovely shops. It’s always nice to visit Stewart Park, with several bridges and great landscape; it’s great to take a walk through, or have a seat on a bench or even check out the Ian Millar and Big Ben statue. Perth has some of the best rated restaurants from anywhere around with great atmosphere and superb food- you don’t have to go anywhere for great get togethers. Perth really offers alot from the Maple Fest in Spring the Stewart Park Festival in Summer, the Perth Fair in (almost) Fall and the Santa Claus parade in Winter- there’s something for everyone and I love it all and wouldn’t live anywhere else!
