Calling all locals and out-of-towners! The Carleton Place Business Improvement Association (BIA) invites you to visit downtown Carleton Place to enjoy a summer community extravaganza.

The 12th Annual Bridge Street Bazaar will showcase the center of this colourful and historical town including a sidewalk shop with over a hundred vendors. Visitors have the opportunity to shop, enjoy some great local entertainment, and eat at waterfront pubs and restaurants.

The entire downtown section of Bridge Street will be shut off to vehicular traffic making way for a pedestrian-friendly area where both vendors and merchants alike can display and sell their products. The full-day schedule of the sidewalk sale includes various activities and attractions – including some of Carleton Place’s finest musicians mascots and dancers. This family fun event offers something for even our youngest visitors – petting zoo pony rides face painting and balloon animals are among the many activates that will delight the young and young at heart. The sound of pop rock and country will fill the air as spectators enjoy a full day of live local entertainment. Entertainment in the downtown market full of variety and best of all free of charge!

With community groups restaurants and arts programs all coming together for the day, visitors will truly be able to immerse themselves in the culture of Carleton Place – discovering all that our great town has to offer.

Crafternoon Drop In

It’s a weekly crafty drop in for kids aged 7 and up.

Drop in anytime between 1:30 – 3:30 to do the fun craft. Stay for a few minutes, stay for a while and take part in the other fun activities we have going on each day at the library.

Goodwood Music Festival 2017

A group of local musicians have joined forces with the Township of Beckwith to host a Country Music Festival at Beckwith Park this summer to celebrate Canada’s 150thAnniversary! This festival will be held Friday August 4th– Sunday August 6th, 2017 featuring local Ottawa Valley Country Musicians. Daily, weekend and camping passes will be available. Rough camping included with showers and restroom facilities.

Bia Bridge Street Summer Fest

Meet Downtown Carleton Place on the Mississippi! The much-anticipated Bridge St. Summer Fest (previously Bridge Street Bazaar) will be your new summer favourite. Boutique shopping, maker and vendor markets, Beatles Tribute Band and Redneck Limousine, Hometown Hearts Kidz Zone, Carleton Place Farmers’ Market, Wally’s Classic: National Log Lifting Competition, Scarlet Black & Lucy Loop, Hula Fun Zone, and Stalwart Beer Garden will be featured. The Stalwart beer garden will be 19+ only and will begin at 11 a.m. “Bridge St.
