It is a day for people to show their appreciation for fathers and father figures. Father figures may include stepfathers, fathers-in-law, guardians (eg. foster parents), and family friends.

Father’s Day activities include (but are not limited to):

–    Participating in Father’s Day fun runs and other events in which the proceeds go towards charity or prostate cancer research.
–    Buying presents such as neckties and other items of clothing, chocolates, books or equipment for various types of hobbies.
–     Giving handmade or purchased cards.
–    Breakfasts, brunches, lunches, or dinners either at home or in restaurants.
–    Taking fathers or father figures out to the movies, the park, the zoo, or another place of interest.

Trash the Dress – War of Colours July 14

Carleton PlaceHave fun with the gang you went to Prom with: or encourage your husband and wedding party to take part in making some new memories. Invite your friends and family along as your beautiful dress mixed with some colour, makes a great piece of art.

Release the “free spirit” within and then have 3 amazing photographs taken of your masterpiece.

Who’s Your Planner? is hosting a war of colours July 14, 2012 from 11-4. Tickets are available to purchase through Grazie Gifts website www.graziegifts.com.

Tickets are $65.00/person included in the ticket price:
-War of Colour
-3 Professional Photographs of your creation and a chance to purchase more
-Lunch
-Transportation too and from event site

This event will donate $3 from every ticket sold to Interval House in Carleton Place.

Bathrooms will be available to clean up afterwards at the Canoe Club in Carleton Place so that your vehicles stay clean. Event will be taking place at the Wool Growers in Carleton Place and then lunch will be provided at the Carleton Place Canoe Club.
