Celebration Art & Wine Stroll

 

 

Come by!! This event is free to attend. It includes a variety of artisan vendors and wine! This Saturday, 5-9pm in the heart of Celebration, FL!

Celebration Art and Wine Strolls take place five times a year during the months January, February, March, April and October. Featuring 50 artists and exhibitors, this event features local talent and quality products. Our art and wine strolls are a Celebration Town favorite with Live Music, Wine and of course our talented Artists and exhibitors.

Garden Club of Celebration

A warm welcome to the “Garden Club of Celebration. Inc” website. If you enjoy gardening or just have an interest in plants, flowers, wildlife and the environment, live in Celebration, come and join The Garden Club of Celebration. The Club was founded in April 1997 and has met on the third Wednesday of each month between September and May ever since.

We have over one hundred members of all ages, both men and women. Our meetings are fun and enjoyable with a wide variety of topics for our program, anything from container gardening to advice on what you can bring back from abroad. Our meetings are held in Heritage Hall at 9.00am and begin with social time, enjoying a drink and refreshments provided by our wonderful refreshment committee.

Celebration’s holiday concert!

If there is one musical event that is the must see this holiday season…this is it! Circle the date on the calendar and begin making your plans NOW, as we welcome “The Holiday Rock Orchestra” to the stage at Great Lawn on Thursday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m.

“The Holiday Rock Orchestra” is a collection of today’s best rock musicians and singers celebrating musical memories of the holidays. These musical performers present timeless classics with a twist of excitement and a humble respect to the greatest artists that have come before them.

The production includes a seven-piece band, lights, special effects, a LED Wall and 16-member choir. Residents will have the opportunity to enjoy the evening from their very own VIP table with reserved seating. A table of eight will be available for $200, while a table of four will be available for $100.

Founder’s Day Architect – Led Walking Tour of Celebration

 

In honor of Founder’s Day, Celebration Foundation’s New Urbanism Committee will host its architect-led tour in downtown Celebration on Saturday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. You will learn about our mixed use, compact and vibrant town center using the planning principles of New Urbanism. Discuss the details of streetscapes and architectural styles, and even learn from experts about the design and management of our public parks and trails.

The tour is only $10, but limited to 50 guests. Guests will split up into smaller groups. All guests are asked to meet at the pavilion on the corner of Front Street and Bloom Street. The very popular tour had a great turnout last year, as tickets sold quickly! Be sure to register early – you won’t want to miss this!

Cost: $10.

Oktoberfest 2019

 

On October 18th and 19th , Celebration Town Center transforms before your very eyes as the falling leaves of the season drop on Market Street in the Fall Festival known as Oktoberfest. Listen for the rustling of leaves, relax by the lakeside and rock your troubles away, and enjoy the live music with family and friends in this one-of-a-kind themed extravaganza.

On Friday October 18th, Oktoberfest will be celebrated in the old-world German tradition featuring the sounds of Dan Witucki & Heimatland Musikanten. Come join in on the interactive live show featuring everything from yodeling to crowd sing-a-long fun.

Then, come back on October 19th as Celebration Town Center will celebrate “Rocktoberfest”. Featuring Central Florida’s own Audio Exchange with opening act James Boyd. Town Center will be the place to be to usher in Fall. It’s the coolest family-friendly Oktoberfest in the Southeast, so don’t miss it.

Hop on a hayride, dance to terrific live music, or just stroll and enjoy the crisp fall air and enjoy the great savings at the lakeside promenade.

There is something for everyone at this one of a kind Fall Festival presented by Lexin and sponsored in part by Sam Adams, Axis Magazine, The Celebration Town Tavern, and Experience Kissimmee.

Pink on Parade 2019

 

Join us for the 7th Annual Pink on Parade on October 13, 2019.

Join AdventHealth at Pink on Parade as we celebrate the brave women in our community battling breast cancer, survivors who have won their fight and those who shine on through their loved ones.

Whether you run or walk, gather your friends and wear your pinkest attire. There’s much to celebrate at Pink on Parade!

All participants will receive an event shirt and bib complete with timing chip. All finishers will receive a customized Pink on Parade medal. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers.

Generosity shared through this fun, family-friendly event will provide hope and healing for patients battling breast cancer and breast cancer survivors at AdventHealth. Join us for a fabulous morning of inspiration, motivation and plenty of surprises along the way!

John Classe Community Conversation

 

John Classe will be speaking October 7, 2019 at 6:00 at the Celebration Foundation Thriving office located at 690 Celebration Avenue. This is a free event and registration is not required, but space is limited.

John Classe is the District Administrator of the Reedy Creek Improvement District. He is a real estate development executive who worked on the Celebration and Baldwin Park communities. He has a unique perspective of Celebration, its relationship to Disney World and how the Reedy Creek Improvement District impacts the community.

Reedy Creek handles planning, utilities and other municipal services for Disney World, including road improvements, construction of parking garages and other expansion projects.
