You’re a good Man, Charlie Brown

Charles Schulz’s beloved comic strip comes to life in this joyful, classic Broadway musical.  It’s an “average day in the life” of the Peanuts gang, from bright uncertain mornings to hopeful starlit evenings.  Blockhead Charlie Brown, bossy Lucy, prodigy Schroeder, perfectionist Sally, blanket-toting Linus and lovable Snoopy battle with kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before finally realizing what makes them truly happy.

Christmas in the Park

Each year, on the first Thursday of December, the Morse Museum helps launch the holiday season in Winter Park when it lights up Tiffany windows in Central Park and presents the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble in concert. This December is the 41st annual celebration of Christmas in the Park.

Christmas in the Park was started by Hugh and Jeannette McKean, the Morse Museum’s benefactors, in 1979 as a way to share a part of their rare Tiffany collection with the public in an informal setting. Today, the Morse and the City of Winter Park co-sponsor the event.

The event begins at 6:15 pm when the signal is given to turn on the window lights. The concert concludes about 8:00 pm, and the windows remain lighted until 8:30 pm.
