Carleton Place & Beckwith Music Society Annual Music Festival

Join the Carleton Place & Beckwith Music Society from May 2nd-6th, 2016 for the 3rd Annual Music Festival taking place at the Carleton Place Town Hall Auditorium & the Beckwith Township Council Chambers.

In addition to classes for Piano, we have classes for School Bands. Piano students may be preparing for conservatory examinations or playing for their own pleasure. The festival is for amateure musician who enter classes appropriate for their level of performance. The festival is open to all amateur pianists and to high school bands.

Following the festival our visiting adjudicator will nominate the top performers to be invited to perform at our Gala Concert which will be at 7:00 p.m, Thursday, May 19, the day before the Victoria Day Weekend. Tickets are $10.00. KEEP THIS EVENING FREE.

ID-100137682This Sunday, March 16, come celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beckwith Fire Department. A panel discussion will take place regarding the history of the Beckwith Fire Department and its development to date. Sponsored by the Beckwith Heritage Committee Light Refreshments Provided.

This is a great opportunity to appreciate those who have dedicated their lives to your safety. Come to the Beckwith Fire Hall at 1654 9th Line in Beckwith.
