Oktoberfest

OktoberfestOn October 17h and 18th , Celebration Town Center transforms before your very eyes as the falling leaves of the season drop on Market Street in the Fall Festival known as Oktoberfest. Listen for the rustling of leaves, relax by the lakeside and rock your troubles away, and enjoy the live music with family and friends in this one-of-a-kind themed extravaganza.

On Friday October 17th Oktoberfest will be celebrated in the old-world German tradition featuring the sounds of Dan Witucki & Heimatland Musikanten. Come join in on the interactive live show featuring everything from yodeling to crowd sing-a-long fun.

Then, come back on October 18th as Celebration Town Center welcomes Central Florida’s finest- The Jonnie Morgan Band and Jason Domulot.

Hop on a hayride, dance to terrific live music, paint a pumpkin, or just stroll and enjoy the crisp fall air and enjoy the great savings at the lakeside promenade.

Leaves fall daily at 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 PM.

Parking and Admission are FREE!!!

There is something for everyone at this one of a kind Fall Festival presented by Lexin and sponsored in part by Melia Suite Hotel, Axis Magazine, The Celebration Town Tavern, and the Experience Kissimmee

Art and Wine Stroll

arts and wine strollOctober 11 is another installment of Art and Wine Stroll. Join us downtown Celebration as we appreciate local art and wines as we stroll down the main street. Celebration’s downtown is a traditional retail and business district modeled after those found in small American towns. Retail shops, restaurants, a town hall, post office, and offices  are among the downtown businesses. Many of these buildings are situated along a wide promenade circling a lake.

Lunch, Munch and Learn

ID-10034343Join the Celebration Chamber of Commerce on May 6 for another networking opportunity through Lunch, Munch and Learn. This month’s focus is on Educating the Business Community on CareerSource  Central Florida.

Guest speaker is Jose Calvo a Business Account Representative  for CaeerSource Central Florida.

Come to the Bohemian Hotel at 11:30am-1pm. This event is $15 per person.

2013 Osceola County Career Fair Stetson University March 7

The Celebration Area Council in conjunction with Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce will be holding a job fair featuring local businesses from Osceola and surrounding counties.

The event will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 9AM to 12:30PM at Stetson University Celebration Center

Celebration Florida Job FairEmployment opportunities are expected to range from entry level to management and executive levels. There are still openings for Employers to participate and to obtain more information please contact Dianne James at 321-939-7612 or email djames@stetson.edu.

Classes will also be available starting at 9:30AM. Course titles are “How to Nail the Interview”, “Resume Building” and Sandy Geroux, Motivational Speaker, will also be conducting a class. Each session will be 30 minutes.

The Celebration Area Council and Florida Hospital Celebration are collaborating this year for their signature ‘Health and Lifestyle’ event. It will take place on Thursday October 18 at Celebration Town Hall from 5 PM – 8 PM. Booths are available starting at $125 for non-members. September’s Featured Speaker is Patrick Faulk, BS, CPT

On Mind, Body and Spirit Health

Patrick Faulk holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology from the University of Florida and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. Mr. Faulk currently works for Florida Hospital’s Healthy 100 Institute in Celebration overseeing the development of new wellness programs along with their corporate wellness services. Patrick has addressed a variety of audiences including Disney Marathon Runners, High School & College Athletes, Corporate Partners and many others on a wide range of topics pertaining to fitness and wellness. Patrick has spoken to groups about stress management, injury prevention, beginning an exercise routine, and body composition, among other topics. He is committed to educating as many as possible on the benefits of living a Healthy 100 lifestyle. Patrick believes that everyone is capable of attaining their goals; everyone can reach a Healthy 100, as long as they believe in themselves.
