Brockville & 1000 Islands Doors Open May 26-27

The Old Stone Mill located in Delta Ontario will be a part of the Brockville and 1000 Islands Doors Open event taking place May 26-27, 2012. Some other local Rideau Lakes locations participating are: Green Gecko (Lyndhurst), Lyndhurst Historic Bridge, Township of Athens and Area Heritage Museum, Wendy’s Country Market (Lyndhurst), Wiltse Pioneer Cemetery (Athens), and Wing’s Live Bait & Tackle (Lyndhurst).

Rideau Lakes

Every year, Doors Open Ontario attracts large crowds across Ontario. From April to October, residents and visitors are invited to discover first-hand Ontario’s hidden heritage treasures, some of which have never been open to the public.

Mehndi Glass Lesley McDougall, the creater of Mehndi Glass, will be making her beautiful artwork in-house at the Greeen Gecko tomorrow (March 21, 2012), 1-3pm at the Green Gecko located at 436 Lyndhurst Road, Lyndhurst, ON. Stop in and see an Ontario artist at work!
