Sleeping Giant Loppet – GIANT Ski Reunion

It’s a GIANT Family & Friends Ski Reunion! It’s the 35th anniversary of the Loppet and nostalgia is in the air…

Come out the Sleeping Giant Loppet (formerly the Sibley Ski Tour) on March 3, 2012. This event is a mass participation cross country ski event that takes place every year on the first Saturday in March. Held in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, it provides both recreational and competitive categories and a variety of distances, including the challenging 50km classic or open events, a 35km distance, a 20km loop around Marie Louise Lake, and an 8km mini-Loppet which is perfect for families and new skiers. World class grooming, exceptional organization and services, and stunning scenery make this the iconic winter event in northwestern Ontario.

Visit the website regularly for updates throughout the year and start planning now to invite family and friends to the GIANT Ski Reunion.
