Thursday, June 12, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and Park Avenue Merchants Association invite you to experience the charm of Park Avenue with Summertime Sip, Shop and Stroll.

Spend the evening on a unique wine walk and stroll to your favorite Park Avenue area shops and restaurants.  Discover new merchants, check out the latest fashions, gift ideas, seasonal menu items and enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres along the way.

You must register for this event to attend, to download a registration form click here. Tickets are $25 per person and each reservation includes a commemorative wine glass and passport.  Tickets will not be mailed – confirmations will be emailed for registrations submitted through PayPal.

Attendees will receive their wine glass and passport at check-in, beginning at 5 p.m.  Check-in will be held in Central Park, at the corner of Morse Boulevard and Park Avenue. Guests must check-in by 7:00 p.m.

Come to the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden for a celebration of painting. This week long celebration exhibits the work of twenty-five pro­fes­sion­ally acclaimed plein air artists who will roam across our fair city cap­tur­ing many of your favorite land­scapes and land­marks with oils, water­col­ors and pastels. SPREE is a pop-up consignment sale benefiting children who are blind or with visual impairments. The funds from the sale will go to Lighthouse Central Florida, the area’s only private, non-profit agency offering a comprehensive range of services to people living with sight impairment in the tri-county area. The funds from the sale will specifically benefit Lighthouse CFL’s Early Intervention Program for children with visual impairments between the ages of 0-5. The sale will feature clothing and accessories for women, men, and children.

Come to Central Park this Saturday April 19 for the 60th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Presented by the City of Winter Park, this fun-filled event will provide as much excitement and laughs for adults as it will for youngsters.

Children up to 10 years of age can begin lining up at 9:30 a.m. The hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Children with special needs are also encouraged to join in the fun.

Over 10,000 eggs will be placed throughout Central Park. As always, children who come up empty handed will still be able to enjoy special treats at the designated candy area.

This is a FREE event presented by Cullen & Hemphill PLC. The event features pet related artists, vendors and adoption organizations.

Come out to Créalde School of Art on Saturday, April 12 for the exhibit of photographs by Paul Kwilecki. This exhibition of 48 framed silver prints spanning the artist’s career is on loan from the CDS. Crealdé will display the collection in two locations, at the Alice & William Jenkins Gallery at Crealdé’s main campus and at the Hannibal Square Heritage Center Visiting Exhibition Gallery in downtown Winter Park.
