Terrorizing characters and frightening fun – Enzian will host a month-long Halloween celebration featuring the annual Haunted Swamp: Walk of Terror. Now in its second scary year, the walk is a chilling tour through two thousand feet of natural woods behind the theater. This event has been expanded over two weekends; Oct. 22 through 23 and Oct. 29 through 31, 8 p.m. to 1a.m.
Featuring original characters, spine tingling theatrics and impressive decor, attendees will experience nail-biting fun and anxiety as they fall prey to hidden scare traps and surprises around every turn of their tour.
Along with the Walk of Terror tours, Enzian will showcase free and inexpensive scary movie presentations throughout the month. From pop culture favorites and family classics to horror, grindhouse cult screenings, the month-long Movie Madness program will feature a film for everyone.
“From neighborhood trick or treating to homemade house parties, Halloween has always been an event that brings the community together, in fun and scary traditions,” said Enzian President Henry Maldonado. “Enzian is a place where we celebrate community, and Halloween has always been a most fun time of the year. We invite all to come for film, food, friends and a really scary time.”
Eden Bar, Enzian’s outdoor restaurant and bar, will be a party destination for adult Halloween revelers as it serves delicious food, beer and cocktail specials throughout the evening from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume.
Admission into the Walk of Terror is $6 when purchased in advance, $8 day of the event and free for Enzian Film Society members. Swamp attendees will also receive exclusive discounts at Eden Bar. Eden Bar is free and open to the public to enjoy (21 years and older to drink). To purchase admission tickets and for more information, visit www.enzian.org.
