Each spring the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and Park Avenue Merchants Association proudly host a Valentine Concert in Central Park. This afternoon of music and romance is the ideal place to bring a picnic basket, spread out a blanket and spend the afternoon with your sweetheart on Park Avenue.

The free event is held on the Sunday before Valentine’s Day at the Central Park Main Stage.

A FREE Bike Valet will be offered for the Valentine Concert. Don’t worry about parking your car, ride on down and have your bicycle parked and secured while you enjoy the music! Eyes will be on your bicycle for the duration of the concert. It works like a hat check. The bicycle valet will be located on the west side of the Main Stage.

Safety is our first priority!
Bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs will be prohibited from the race course. The use of headphones is discouraged.
Walker Friendly Events

Keeping Central Florida Fit is our mission. Walkers are encouraged to participate in all Track Shack races. Municipalities require that road ways are clear of participants and opened as soon as the race is complete. That is why a maximum pace of 16 minutes per mile is set. If the pace isn’t maintained, race officials will ask you to move to the sidewalk to re-open the roadways.
Stroller Restrictions

• Stroller/jogger operators start behind designated stroller signage in the 2 mile ONLY.
• Stroller/jogger operators may walk/jog no faster than 15 minute per mile, a safe operating speed. If your speed goes faster than 15 minutes per mile pace, you may be disqualified.
• Stroller/jogger operators must yield the right of way to runners. Stroller/Joggers can tip easily and cannot turn quickly. Please do not weave through packs of runners.

The City of Winter Park invites you to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season as the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra presents its annual Holiday Pops concert in Winter Park’s charming Central Park. The Philharmonic will present a beautiful program of holiday favorites for all ages to enjoy. This free public concert is made possible by the Charlotte Julia Hollander Trust. Audience members are encouraged to bring non-perishable, canned or dry food items to help restock the pantries at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Bring a blanket and a picnic and get ready for a concert program of holiday favorites that will be sure to put everyone in the spirit of the season.

This family-friendly event is a fundraiser for mission projects in Haiti and is sponsored by St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, St. Stephen Catholic Community and other friends of Haiti. The city’s Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to present, “Chalk the Walk” in Central Park. This event is similar to a street-painting festival, but unique in that the sidewalks of beautiful Central Park will become the canvas on which artists create their magnificent works of chalk art. The event is open to spectators all day.

Prizes for the show totaling $2,500 will be presented to winners from adult, high school and middle school categories. Winners will be announced from the main stage in Central Park at 5 p.m. To participate and chalk in the event is FREE and open to the public.
