Winter Sidewalk Sale

Join us Friday through Sunday, January 22-24, for the best deals in Town Center at the Annual Winter Sidewalk Sale! Enjoy walking the brick-lined streets of Celebration Town Center and spend time with family and friends. Celebration’s downtown is a traditional retail and business district modeled after those found in small American towns.
Retail shops, restaurants, a town hall, post office, and offices  are among the downtown businesses. Many of these buildings are situated along a wide promenade circling a lake.

Lunch & Learn

The next Lunch & Learn, sponsored by the Celebration Foundation, will be held at Town Hall, 851 Celebration Avenue on Wednesday, January 13 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Lunch is $5 and payable at the door, but please register by calling the Celebration Foundation, 407-566-1234.

We are pleased to bring back Diane Reynolds RN, BSN, MA, CMC (Certified Care Manager) of FHL Care Management, LLC to share her expertise and answer your questions. Diane can help you understand how all the components…financial, legal, medical…work together to create a comprehensive care management program as you get older. Don’t wait till you are in crisis, care management is about being proactive and having a plan.

Food Truck Friday

Our next Food Truck Friday is January 8. Make plans to join us from 5 – 9 p.m. at Town Hall. We are proud to be hosting the Big Red Bus beginning at 4 p.m. that evening. Before indulging in some of the culinary specialties, start the new year by giving the gift of life.

The current lineup includes: Kona Dog, Philly’s Best Cheesesteaks, Caketeer, Messy Delights, MidNight Sun, Mi Casita Truck, Tastebuds, The Crepe Co., It’s All Greek to Me, The Big Hot Box, Dixieland Diner and The London Fish & Chippy.

Lunch & Learn featuring Monarcha Marcet

The next Thriving in Place Lunch & Learn on June 10th will feature Monarcha Marcet from Adventure in Building, Inc. Monarcha will discuss “Ease of Use” in residential planning and renovation.

Also at June’s meeting, Lowe’s Home Improvement of Clermont will have a display table of easy home renovation items.

Join us at Town Hall 851 Celebration Avenue from 11:30am-1:00pm for lunch (cost is $5 per person at the door).

Summer Breakout Begins

Our annual Celebration summer camp will begin Monday, June 8, providing daily care for children ages 6-12, with exciting and interactive activities for all.

Parents/ guardians may sign-up their children for a variety of weeks, paying for one at a time or all up front.

More information on this summer’s scheduled field trips and information will be coming shortly!

Food Truck Friday

When: on the second Friday of each month from 5- 9 p.m.

Where: at Celebration Town Hall parking lot, 851 Celebration Ave

During the free event, residents and guests can enjoy more than a dozen of the best food trucks in Central Florida who will come together and provide delicious eats! Enjoy great music, children-friendly activities, and family fun!

If your family has a hard time deciding on what to eat because everyone wants something different, this is the perfect choice for dinner! Everyone gets to choose what type of food they want… and it is a tough decision! Stop by on the second Friday of each month from 5- 9 p.m. at Celebration Town Hall parking lot, 851 Celebration Ave.

**Although tables and chairs are provided, it is recommended that you bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on, since this is a popular event and seating is limited.

Stuff the Bus!

The Celebration community is gathering together to help Celebration High School students that don’t have school supplies for this year. Make a difference by helping out students that qualify to be considered a “Family in Transition” and help them rise above their current situation. Purchase school supplies and bring those donations to the Celebration K-8 School Open House on August 16th from 3 pm – 6 pm. You can also drop off your donations in Downtown Celebration on August 17th from 10 am – 2 pm. If you cannot attend either event, you may drop your donations off at the Celebration High School Open House on August 15th from 4 pm – 7 pm or during normal business hours at the Water Tower Place Chick-Fil-A, Celebration Town Hall, or the Celebration Foundation. Thank you for helping us offer a brighter future to local students!

Financial Wellness Workshop

Celebration West Osceola Library  Come out to the Celebration West Osceola Library located at 305 Campus Street, Kissimmee FL 34747 for the Financial Wellness Workshop on August 8, 2013 from 6:30-8pm.

Workshop will provide solutions to common financial challenges faced by individuals, families and small businesses including the different savings accounts needed, retirement strategies, debt elimination and compound interest and how it helps your money grow.

A Sci-Fi 4th of July in Celebration, Florida

Want to see fireworks that are high quality like those at Walt Disney World without having to pay high prices? The town of Celebration, near Walt Disney World, hosts an incredible 4th of July celebration that is free to guests. But, this year the Celebration Town Center will be celebrating the 4th of July like never before! They are partnering with MegaCon to celebrate in a whole new and exciting way. This will be one of the very best celebrations in all of Central Florida and you won’t want to miss it! The traditional 4th of July fireworks will have an interesting twist this year, as they will be synchronized to Sci-Fi themed music. This memorable fireworks display will be kicked off with a costume contest. Dress up as your favorite Sci-Fi character or Super Hero and have a chance to win great prizes.

Oliver’s Queen, Jordyn Kane, DJ Tami, Gina Marie Incandela, and The Dixieland Jazz Band will provide live music that kids and adults of all ages will enjoy. As always, there will be bounce houses, a tribute to our veterans, inflatable games, face painting, and much more.

Parking and admission are FREE and a free park and ride shuttle will be available from 215 Celebration Place. The shuttle service will start at 5 pm, as the event starts at 5:30 pm. Bring the whole family out to enjoy the whole evening in Celebration, Florida. This year will definitely be one that you won’t want to miss!

Great American Pie Festival 2013 In Celebration FL

The 2013 American Pie Council Great American Pie Festival sponsored by Crisco returns to Celebration Florida on April 27-28, 2013.

Did you know that America has a pie heritage? We do, and you can help preserve it with the pie buffet that has no end. There will also be a pie eating contest, baking competition and cooking demonstrations.

The Baker’s Square Pietopia stage with live music and entertainment, games and much more. Saturday, April 27, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 28, noon to 5 p.m. For more look for the American Pie Council on Facebook or call 407.566.1200.
