The Perth and District Chamber of Commerce has booked the bands, selected the venues and has put the finishing touches on a day-long music festival — ‘Winter Jam 2016’ — that is guaranteed to warm up the winter March 5 here in beautiful downtown Perth!

37th Annual Festival of the Maples

The grand finale to the month-long maple celebration takes place in Downtown Perth on April 27, 2013.

Mr. Vic Lemieux spearheaded the first festival with the hopes it would bring people out and celebrate after a long winter. His vision of a spring celebration has continued with the festival celebrating its 37th year this April.

On scenic downtown Gore Street and at other venues in Perth, you’ll discover fantastic shops, vendors offering award-winning maple products, displays, stage entertainment, lots of kids’ activities and more.

This annual event is hosted by the Perth & District Chamber of Commerce and touts the fact Lanark County is the maple syrup capital of Ontario. The funds raised from the festival help keep the festival going as well as other chamber initiatives.

Maple products and taffy sales, displays of maple syrup production, maple awards, entertainment, petting zoo, children’s activities.
