An Ideal Husband by Oscar WildeSummer time and the laughin’ is easy!
Oscar Wilde’s Masterpiece
An Ideal Husband
August 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, & 23 at 8:00 pm
August 17 & 24 at 2:00 pm

Along with “The Importance of Being Ernest”, this is Oscar Wilde’s most produced comedic social satires. Written with style and wit, this piece examines the foibles of the rich and powerful as they play at politics, love and even blackmail. As the clever repartee and lies begin to fly, it’s revealed that the “perfect” man is flawed, the man with all the flaws must do something right, and the question remains: what makes an ideal husband? Oscar Wilde is an ideal and delightful diversion for dog days of August.
