Join us Friday, November 7, for a special evening that starts at the main campus with a presentation on “The Life, Work and Legacy of Bill Jenkins” from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a reception from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Then make a short drive to our second campus in Hannibal Square, Winter Park, as the reception continues from 8-10 p.m., with jazz by the Per Danielsson Trio at the Hannibal Square Heritage Center.
The 2014 Winter Park Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 6, at 9am along the streets of Park Avenue in Downtown Winter Park. The parade features over 100 parade units including marching bands, police and fire departments, and Disney World and Sea World floats. After the parade, go ice skating in the West Meadow in Central Park in the outdoor skating rink.
Pancake Breakfast
Before and during the parade, Leadership Winter Park will host their annual Pancake Breakfast at the Central Park stage from7:00-10:30 a.m.
Tickets for the breakfast are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (407) 644-8281. Proceeds benefit Winter Park area elementary schools. The parade is free.

Tickets for 2014 Winter Park Concours d’Elegance now available through AAA
Winter Park, FL (Oct. 14, 2014) –Central Florida residents and car enthusiasts can now purchase discounted tickets for the thirteenth annual Winter Park (FL) Concours d’Elegance, in Winter Park, Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at AAA’s online ticket sales site http://www.AAA.com/FUN or by visiting or calling any local AAA office in Central Florida.
AAA Members can save three dollars off the retail prices of $20 Adult and $10 child (4-10).
The Winter Park Concours motoring event features some of the most highly-regarded, judged classic and exotic cars in the United States will be staged 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov 16, 2014 on the grounds of Winter Park Country Club, located on the north side of Winter Park’s popular Park Avenue shopping district.
Since its inception in 2002, the Winter Park Concours has become one of the most prestigious ranked exotic classic car shows in the United States.
The 2014 Winter Park Concours will display more than 160 of the world’s most prestigious automobiles, climaxing three days of related classic auto events throughout the metropolitan Orlando area. Attendees will be able to enjoy close-up access to individual autos and auto groupings for viewing and exclusive photo opportunities, enjoy live music, and select from food and beverage offerings by some of Central Florida region’s most popular food vendors.
Regular ticket prices for the Winter Park Concours are $20 for adults (11 and older) and $10 for children (4-10). There is no admission charge for children three and younger. Information: www.winterparkconcours.com.

The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Small Business Resource Network host a monthly educational program for small business owners. Each year the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce coordinates a series of Business After Hours events to facilitate networking for its members. The Winter Park Autumn Art Festival, presented by Florida Distributing Company and Subaru celebrates its 41st anniversary onSaturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, 2014. At its permanent home in Central Park, located along beautiful Park Avenue, the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival is the only juried fine art show to showcase Florida artists exclusively.
“The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce continues the tradition of hosting one of Central Florida’s most cherished art festivals which inspires, entertains and educates our community,” said Winter Park Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, Patrick Chapin. “The arts have a huge impact on our quality of life and we are pleased to showcase Florida artists during this two-day celebration.”
From over 400 applications, 156 of Florida’s outstanding artists were selected to display their works in eight different categories, including ceramics, drawings and graphics, fiber, fine crafts, jewelry, painting, photography and sculpture. Prize money awarded by festival judges in 2014 will exceed $16,000.
New this year, patrons can enjoy seasonal craft beers in the Florida Distributing Company beer garden, located near the Central Park stage. A portion of the proceeds from the beer garden will benefit Chamber Cares, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce’s philanthropic effort. Throughout the festival, attendees will continue to enjoy live musical entertainment on the Central Park Stage, children’s activities led by instructors from The Crealdé School of Art, food vendors and a sidewalk sale at local merchants. Park Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic during the festival from New England Avenue to Canton Avenue. Ample parking can be found on area side streets and parking garages. A bicycle valet will also be organized by the Winter Park Pedestrian Bicycle Board in the West Meadow.

Alan will give a brief overview of the tools and technologies that Epic uses to build its high-quality games.
