Puppy Pumpkin Prowl is partnering with Pump-Gan-Fest

Location: Gananoque Town Hall Soccer Field

Description: Puppy Pumpkin Prowl is partnering with Pump-Gan-Fest, Saturday Oct. 3rd. Registration for the walk starts at 9 am at the Gananoque Town Hall Soccer Field and the walk starts at 10 am. The soccer field is behind the Town Hall building on King St. West. Walk with or without a dog to raise funds to support the Dog Rescue, Rehabilitation and Rehoming Programme of the Gananoque & District Humane Society with fun activities to follow at Pump-Gan-Fest back at the Town Hall park.

Admission Details: Please join in by walking and getting pledges or kindly pledge a walker or our Walk Spokes-dog “Sir Reginald” through www.canadahelps.org. You can register or request information by emailing gdhswalk@bell.net.

Thousand Islands Bark Bash

Dog FestivalThis outdoor summer festival takes place Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 10am to 4pm at the Gananoque Town Park. The Thousand Islands Bark Bash will center on dog-related products and services as well as Rescue Lane, where you will learn about the wonderful, behind-the-scenes work being done for dogs.

Lions Club Cruise

Come out to the Gananoque Lions Club Cruise on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 9am-5pm at the Gananoque Town Park.

Bring out your classic or unique car, truck or motorcycle. Judging starts at noon. 24 car and truck classes and 5 motorcycle classes.

Two winners each class and dash plaques given to the first 150 entrants Admission Details: Free admission to the public and $10.00 each car, truck and motorcycle.

Chalk The Walk – Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival

Chalk Art FestivalJoin Gananoque in celebrating the seventh annual Chalk the Walk festival on Saturday May 23, 2015. Registration opens at 9:30am, and costs $2 (including chalk). Wallace Edwards will be the special guest again this year!

Gananoque Rotary Craft Fairs

Come on out to the heart of downtown Gananoque for the Craft Fair organized by the Gananoque Rotary Club. On July 2nd-3rd and again on August 6th, 2011, there will be a large display of crafts and home-made goodies in Town Hall Park. Plan to attend rain or shine from 10am-4pm.

1000 Islands Family Ribfest

1000 Islands RibfestCelebrate Canada Day at the 1000 Islands Family Ribfest starting June 30 – July 3, 2011. Right in the heart of downtown Gananoque is were you will find this exciting event at the Town Hall Park. Now in its 6th year, this popular event is jointly organized and hosted by the Rotary Club and the Lions Club of Gananoque. It attracts well over 20,000 visitors who come to enjoy live music, great food and some fantastic deals. Children are delighted with the free pony rides and the other events and attractions designed especially for them.
