The show runs October 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, at 8pm, and October 19, 26 at 2pm, at The Full Circle Theatre, 26 Craig St., Perth.

Performances by David Jacklin; A splendid orchestra is in town but has not been engaged. Magnificent fireworks were contemplated, but the idea has been abandoned. A grand torchlight procession may be expected; in fact, the public may expect whatever they please.

Thanks Giving Dinner Theatre

theatreOn Saturday, October 11th, 2014 Heritage Mica Days will once again present their THANKSGIVING DINNER THEATRE at Murphys Point Provincial Park.

Imagine yourself as part of an intimate group of 24 people, following a trail to the Silver Queen Mine in the company of character actors. The script of Dave Lally Cooks a Turkey tells the adventures of the Lally Family, original homesteaders in the Murphys Point area, with a lot of truth and a whole lot of whimsy.

Tickets are $75 per person and must be purchased in advance (price includes all gratuities and vehicle entry fees). Purchase four tickets at one time for a special price of $255 (a 15% savings). Tickets are available securely online at heritagemicadays.ca or by calling Beth at 613-267-5340.

Please note that it is about a 2km return trip walk from the parking area to the Silver Queen Mine, and the trail is NOT barrier free. Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Classic Theatre Festival – Two For The Seesaw July 13-Aug 5

If you enjoy live theatre the Classic Theatre Festival located in Perth Ontario has a great selection of upcoming shows and entertainment.

Starting July 13, 2012 with be Two for the Seesaw by William Gibson which is a quirky romantic comedy of two lost souls finding each other in late 1950s New York City. Bristling with snappy dialogue, with a perfect combination of humour and pathos, it won the Tony Award for Best Play. Originally starring Henry Fonda and Anne Bancroft, this heartfelt play keeps audiences rooting for the characters right until the final curtain.
