The refurbishing of our Museum is complete and we are ready to launch a new season with a new Seasonal Exhibit “Back in the Day:

Dated Technologies” and a new Permanent second floor Exhibit, “Plying the River”. Open daily from 10 am until October 31st Admission Details: Admission by Donations. For information on fully guided, group tours please contact the Museum.

Celebrating the St.Lawrence River, and the unique way paddlers connect with it. Perfect for kids, beginners, seniors and competitive paddlers of all ages!

Building on the success of last years event, this weekend combines a fun day of learning in kayaks and concludes with a race on Sunday. All ages, abilities, individuals + families welcome. There will be learning clinics for adults and kids and race categories for recreational and competitive folks.

Last years attendance was over 200 and with your help we can exceed that this time.

Below we wrote about Laura Bird performing at the Arthur Child Heritage Museum. This is one of several musicians performing during the Jammin’ In The Islands event.

1000 Islands Music Festival

You do not want to miss the 1000 Islands Music Festival taking place August 13 – August 15.

There’s nothing like live entertainment on a sunny afternoon or starlit night.

Join us for some great concerts at the Dingman Farm located at 15 Pykeview Drive in Gananoque.

Poised as one of the largest concert festivals of its kind, the 1000 Islands Music Festival features some of the top award winning acts including Snoop Dogg, Simple Plan, Plain White T’s, Akon, and Lights as well as The Official Blues Brothers Revue. As an added bonus, Randy and Mr. Lahey from Trailer Park Boys will also be at the show.
