Going Country with Champions For Kids

Lanark County Harvest Festival at Beckwith Park

Naismith 3 On 3 Basketball Festival

From 1992 to 2011 almost one hundred teams participated annually in twenty divisions on the streets of Almonte, making this the largest 3-ON-3 tournament in Eastern Ontario. Perth Festival Challenge

ceIf you have never been to the Perth Festival Challenge, then this is the year you should come! The Festival challenge is a winner takes all, combination of scavenger hunt/treasure hunt and word jumble that bring history to life. You get to tour the historical treasures of Perth and solve clues at the same time. 

The challenge runs Saturday, July 19 10:30am-12:30pm. Hosted by the Tay River Reflections Medical Spa and Fitness Centre. All proceeds go to the Lanark County Palliative Care Services.

Almonte Agricultural Fair

marketCome out to see the traditional fair exhibits in the Agricultural Hall, check out the farm education stalls and pet or pigeon shows, join the horseshoe tournament or children’s games, try your luck at Cow Plop Bingo or Baked Beans Cook-Off, watch the Demolition Derby and Heavy Horse Show, enjoy the live music at night, and have fun at the Midway!

The Stewart Park Festival attracts the best food and artisan vendors in the area. You can expect to find everything from photography, furniture and jewellery to clothing and craft.
The festival runs from Friday, July 18 until Sunday, July 20. This year our festival is even bigger thanks to the support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Government of Ontario. Our festival now includes fabulous children’s shows and family fun, there truly is something for everyone!
