2015 Season Opening at the Arthur Child Heritage Museum

The refurbishing of our Museum is complete and we are ready to launch a new season with a new Seasonal Exhibit “Back in the Day:

Two Rivers Music Festival

Here’s one more to add to your list, the Two Rivers Music Fest – a day long musical showcase and community gathering in downtown Gananoque. Featuring the best local talent, Two Rivers works with the Town of Gananoque, the Gananoque BIA, and Gananoque Brewery to create a fun and exciting atmosphere in celebration of our unique community.

Come to beautiful downtown Gananoque on Saturday, August 23 and enjoy great food and music. The first annual Two Rivers Music Fest is an exciting and family friendly event created to celebrate our unique community and the talent that lives here.

10th ANNUAL GOLF FOR THE FONZ TOURNAMENT

2014 golf for the fonz inviteJoin us for the final Golf for the Fonz tournament in support of the Gananoque & District Humane Society (a no kill facility) onSaturday, August 2, 2014 at the Gananoque Golf & Country Club with a 1pm shotgun start. 
We’re going out with a bang by making this our final tournament and are celebrating 10 great years and ask all participants to dress in “Black Tie Affair” for this tournament. 
This tournament is open to advanced and beginner players as score does not matter. This is a fun tournament that raises awareness and funds for a great local organization. The cost is $50/person (teams of 2) and includes 9 holes of golf, souvenir, donation to the shelter and steak dinner at Cousins on King Bar and Grill in oliver’s banquet Room. Music following on the patio (Rivercity Junction) from 8pm-12. FIREHALL THEATRE’S 10th ANNIVERSARY PARTY

Thousand Islands Playhouse Celebrations

This fundraiser is in support of the Thousand Islands Playhouse.

For the past three years, the Playhouse has held a very successful Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Smuggler’s Glen Golf Course in Gananoque. This year, some changes have been made to the organization of the event to make it attractive to more of our patrons and friends. ADIRONDACK CHAIR RAFFLE
Raffle is ongoing from May 16- June 14 at 1:30pm
Five beautiful, hand-painted Adirondack chairs will be displayed on the Springer Theatre docks and raffled off during the run of “Driving Miss Daisy”.
You can view the chairs and the contest rules at the Thousand Islands Playhouse website.
Tickets: $10 – 1 ticket. $20 – 3 tickets. $50 – 7 tickets. Tickets are available for purchase 1 hour before each performance of “Driving Miss Daisy”. A winner will be drawn on June 14

ASL INTERPRETED PERFORMANCE- DRIVING MISS DAISY

The Thousand Islands Playhouse is proud to offer our first American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performance in partnership with Limestone Hands in Kingston. During this performance, two interpreters from the Canadian Hearing Society will be present to interpret the performance for audiences. Everyone is welcome!

Don’t miss renowned Canadian Fiddler, Scott Woods and his band, this fall at the Grace United Church.

Scott and his band will be pulling into Gananoque to deliver a live presentation of their brand new 2013 Christmas show called, Scott Woods Country Christmas, a masterful two-hour performance that features old time fiddle & country music, seasonal songs, inspirational stories, sensational step dancing, trick fiddling and more.

The fast paced and uplifting show will delight audiences of all ages.  The show also includes special appearances by 13 year-old step dancing sensation Amanda MacInnis and Guitar Virtuoso Steve Piticco.

Scott Woods is z multiple Canadian Open and Canadian Grand Master Fiddle Champion.  He is known affectionately throughout Canada as ‘The Flippin’ Fiddler.’

The  Scott Woods Country Christmas will take place at Grace United Church, 120 Pine St in Gananoque on Friday November 29th at 7pm.
